How to get rid of acne, zits and pimples in 3 easy steps

Do you have an acne prone skin? Is your daily life haunted by regular acne attacks on your skin? Do you want to get rid of your acne? If the answer is yes to at least one of those questions then you definitely should read this blog post, ‘cause I’m about to give you the solution to all your acne problems in just three fairly simple steps! Ready to take on the little acne monsters?

What is acne and who gets it?

First of all, I should start by explaining a little bit about what it actually is. It will help you understand why this may be happening to you and why the 3-step acne treatment I’m about to give you is so effective.

Acne is a certain skin condition that almost every human being in the world has had at some point in their life. Yes, that’s correct... you’re totally not alone out there, you are with BILLIONS! It’s quite a common fact that acne generally hits hardest during the puberty period in life (the tween- and early teen years), most adults as well still suffer from acne attacks from time to time, sometimes more frequent then other times.

Acne treatment

There are literally hundreds of myths about what actually triggers acne. There are also thousands of acne home remedies and acne medicines available with or without a doctor’s / skin specialist’s prescription. Even though there is not really a known, life-long lasting cure for acne, you can do a pretty good job of getting rid of acne yourself using my three easy and very much so proven steps.

3 easy steps to get rid of acne, zits and pimples

First of all, you will need to exfoliate your skin. Exfoliating your skin removes dirt, dead skin cells, and other skin impurities that add to the blocking of your skin’s pores. Exfoliating your skin can be done through the use of exfoliating creams, acne medicines, acne home remedies, or even a good bath with a loofah sponge.

The second very important step you need to take in your acne treatment is unclogging your pores. There are a few good topical acne creams available that can be used to unclog pores, usually the slightly more expensive ones. Most of those products contain retinoids which is made from Vitamin A or sometimes also microbial elements like Benzoyl Peroxide. These acne creams will penetrate deep into your skin and will then start to unclog the inflamed pores.

The very reason why skin pores need to be unclogged or unblocked on a regular basis (which is different for each one of us) is because acne is ein essence the result of a pore that has become blocked with oil (also called sebum) and dead skin. This blockage is then infested by thousands of bacteria (they need to eat and reproduce as well!) which results in the inflammatory reaction we commonly refer to as acne, zits, and pimples.

After exfoliating the top layer of your skin and unclogging the skin’s pores, the third and last last step you need to take in ridding yourself of acne is to apply a deep penetrating and conditioning skin lotion, which is specifically formulated to thoroughly cleanse, your skin, the pores as well as to reduce any redness, irritation and / or dryness that may have occurred during the first two steps. Depending on which acne treatment cream / product you decide to use, the lotion could also contain a particular topical cleansing agent such as Benzoyl Peroxide to further medicate and cleanse the inflamed area’s of your skin. When it does, please make sure that you don’t skip the second step and leave it all to the lotion. ALL 3 STEPS are of similar importance!!

So there you have it, by following these three quite simple steps (exfoliation, unclogging and conditioning) your skin’s acne problem will be solved, at least for some time. It may not happen immediately, but if you do these three steps on a regular, continued basis, over time you will see quite a a stunning improvement in the health and appearance of your skin while the acne stays away.
